Les Écolodges du lac des Libellules invite you to a rare experience: staying in our two floating lodges on the shores of a former gravel pit with clear, deep waters. With no overlooking neighbors, you enjoy complete privacy and an unspoiled natural setting. Here, life flows at the pace of the lake: watching egrets at dawn, and the spectacle of rainbow trout leaping from the water to feed on mayflies skimming the lake’s surface.

With a bit of luck, you may also witness the grace of fly fishing, practiced by a few enthusiasts, an elegant, almost choreographed gesture that converses with nature and reveals the untouched beauty of this aquatic environment. Not to mention the flight of blue dragonflies in summer and red ones in autumn, to which we pay tribute by naming our two ecolodges “Blue Dragonfly” and “Red Dragonfly.”

Designed with an eco-responsible approach, our fully self-sufficient accommodations combine total immersion in nature with a warm, inviting atmosphere. In summer, the terrace immerses you in the serenity of the lakeshore; in winter, the warmth of the wood stove enhances your evenings overlooking the lake. This haven of peace is located just 10 minutes from Bourges train station, its medieval historic center, its magnificent cathedral, and its unique marshlands in the heart of the city.
